Child and Young People’s Services (CYP)

It is an exciting time for our CYP service. Having launched in early 2023, we now have a growing multi-disciplinary team of experienced clinicians, who are dedicated to helping children and young people make sense of their distress, value their unique strengths, and develop healthy ways of coping. We now offer a range of evidence based psychological therapies for children and young people, autism assessments, occupational therapy (including sensory profiles) and speech & language therapy. We are beginning to offer multi-disciplinary ADHD assessments for under 18’s, and will be offering child psychiatry and ADHD prescribing before the end of 2024. We are also looking forward to welcoming a dedicated CYP service lead, who will continue to develop a robust and innovative CYP service into 2025 and beyond.
